Dessau-Wörlitz Kingdom Garden

A synthesis of nature, architecture and art, it is a testament to the rich culture of the past. Covering an area of ​​about 142 square kilometers, palaces, individually designed gardens, statues and various small buildings sit in harmony with pristine views of the river from the river Elbe and Mulde.

The Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz essentially the work of two men - Prince Leopold III von Anhalt-Dessau (1740-1817) and his friend and adviser Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000.
